2025 AFCON Qualifiers : Group Within Reach For Lions?

Following the draw of the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will play in Group J with Kenya, Namibia and Zimbabwe. The different opponents are eying the Morocco rendezvous. On paper the boys of Coach Marc Brys are the top favourites in the group. Cameroon is the most experienced in the group and the highest placed team in FIFA Rankings. 
Even though it may be considered an easy group, many believe the Lions must watch out for their group opponents who might not give up easily. From the draw, Cameroon are two months away from the first qualifying matches for this last round of qualifiers for the 2025 AFCON. The boys of Coach Marc Brys will be aiming to secure their 22nd appearance in the AFCON. During the previous edition in Côte d’Ivoire 2023, the Lions were knocked out of the competition in the round of 16. Their goal will be to put up a better performance during the qualifiers and win a ticket for Morocco 2025. 
As far as preparations for the AFCON qualifiers are concerned, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has already unveiled the programme of the national team.
