Protestant University of Central Africa : Graduates Called To Be Nation Builders

The call was made by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo during a graduation ceremony on July 26, 2024 in Yaounde.

The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo has called on students of the Protestant University of Central Africa to apply the knowledge acquired in the institution for nation building. He was speaking during the graduation ceremony of over 1,322 students from the school on Friday, July 26, 2024. Also present at the ceremony were other dignitaries like the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng. 
Speaking to the graduates, Minister Jacques Fame Ndongo, said it takes more than a certificate to be productive in today’s competitive society. In his address, he called on the graduates to embrace the professional world with excellence and bravery, reflecting the virtues instilled in them by the Protestant University. The Minister noted that the graduation ceremony and end of term give him the opportunity to underline government’s vision for higher education in Cameroon, thanks to the President of the Republic. He said henceforth, there would be the recruitment of highly qualified permanent teaching staff of all grades like Doctors, Lecturers, Senior Lecturers and Professors. These teachers, he underlined, shall meet all the pre-requisites required by the Ministry of Higher Education’s Institutional Advisory Committee.
