FECAFOOT-One All Sports : Game Over

The Cameroon Football Federation announced on August 6, 2024 that it has terminated its contract with the equipment supplier.

The contract between the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and the equipment supplier of the national selections, “One All Sports” is over. The information is contained in a communique signed by the Secretary General of the Federation, Blaise Djounang on August 6, 2024. “...FECAFOOT, hereby announces to national and international public opinion the termination of its partnership with the equipment supplier of the Cameroon national selections ‘One All Sports’”. 
The communique did not give any clear reasons as to why the contract was terminated but stated that, “the Cameroon Football Federation attaches great importance to the proper execution of contractual commitments made freely by the parties. For this reason, it has decided to terminate this contract, thus putting an end to the partnership with this equipment supplier”. The federation further announces that the national selections will wear “One All Sports” products for the last time during the competitions scheduled in the month of September 2024. As for what the future holds, the federation says it will in the near future launch an invitation to tender aimed at selecting a new equipment supplier “commensurate with the prestigious status of Cameroon national selections”. 
The divorce between FECAFOOT and One All Sports has been the main point of debate in most social media platforms since it was announced.
