2024 National Interpools : Last Semifinals Spot Up For Grabs

The curtain falls on the group stage of the 2024 National Interpools today, with the final semifinals spot up for grabs. This will be during the fifth playing day scheduled in Odza and Mbankomo. While Mintack FC and Union Sportive of Abong Mbang from Pool A, and Atlantic FC from Pool B have already secured their places in the next round, the battle for the remaining semifinals berth will be fiercely contested. All eyes will be on Pool B where Volcan of Noun and Krimi FC are locked in a tense battle for the final semifinals spot. 
The stakes are over in Group A as teams will either be playing for honour or to prove their supremacy. Mintack FC for example comes head on against Botafogo FC at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza. Mintack FC sit first on the standings with nine points thereby making them favourites in this encounter. Winning this match will mean consolidating their lead as well as giving them the title of “Unbeatable”. It should be said that the team has won all three matches played this far in the competition.  Botafogo on the other hand occupies the fourth position on the standings with two points and will just be playing for honour as they are already eliminated. Union Sportive of Abong Mbang that have already qualified for semifinals sit second on the standings with six points.
