Konye : Three ‘Separatist Fighters’ Neutralized

The population of Konye, in Meme Division have heaved a sigh of relieve following the killing of a notorious separatist fighter, self-acclaimed ‘General Black Rappen, and two of his fighters.  The self-proclaimed Amba kingpin identified as Mukube Ekal Romeo alias ‘General Black Rappen’ who has been terrorizing the entire Konye Subdivision was neutralized during a military operation in the area on October 12, 2024. He was killed alongside two of his foot soldiers in a shot out with the military in Mukwalibe village, Konye Subdivision. 
The Amba warlord was neutralized just a day after the Senior Divisional Officer of Meme; Chamberlin Ntou’ou Ndong visited Konye Subdivision to take pulse of school reopening activities as well as the security situation of the locality. During his visit, the administrator urged the population to collaborate with administrative and security officials of the locality in order to weed out criminals. 
The Senior Divisional Officer of Meme hailed the collaboration between the population of Konye and especially those of the Mukwalibe village where the separatist kingpin had taken refuge and wreaking havoc on the population.  The Amba warlord had imposed a 6pm curfew on vehicles plying the Kumba-Mamfe highway.
