Support to the Deaf : SOPECAM’s Efforts Appreciated

The Deputy GM, Shey Peter Mabu, received on behalf of the General Manager, a certificate of recognition and gifts from the Cameroon Deaf Dev’t Organization yesterday in Yaounde.

An association known as the Cameroon Deaf Development Organisation (CDDO) was at the headquarters of the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation known by its French acronym SOPECAM in Yaounde yesterday October 24, 2024. The principal objective of the visit was to express gratitude to the General Manager, Marie-Claire Nnana for the company's contributions to social inclusion of the deaf. The Deputy General Manager of SOPECAM, Shey Peter Mabu on behalf of the GM, received the certificate of recognition and publications brought by the organization to say thank you. 
Before the official handing over of these elements, the Deputy GM took the floor to underline that it is difficult nowadays to see people who are grateful. This gesture, to Dr Shey Peter Mabu, was thus very welcomed.
Speaking through an interpreter, the Executive President of the Organisation, Marcellin Tsala Atangana wholeheartedly thanked the GM for her numerous efforts to the association that has been existing since 2004 and that celebrated its 20th anniversary in the beginning of October. It is within the framework of the 20th anniversary that the organization decided to honour those who have been supporting them all through these years and the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation could not be left out.
