Sambo World Championship : National Teams In Kazakhstan

The 2024 edition of the Sambo World Championship will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan from November 6 to 12, 2024. A total of 12 athletes (two women, ten men) from national men’s and women’s teams will be representing the country in the competition. The athletes will compete in sambo sports and combat sambo. The Cameroonian delegation left the country yesterday, November 4, 2024 for Astana, Kazakhstan where they will be taking part in the competition. Prior to their departure, some 18 athletes trained intensively at the Hotel Prodiges in Yaounde under the supervision of the interim national team coach, Me Atsang A Beyeck William. Training took place twice daily in order to avoid any surprises in the competition. 
At the end of the training session, 12 athletes were selected for the Kazakhstan campaign. During their final training session, the Head of the Department of Studies in Planning and Cooperation in the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education, Mendouane Alvine, paid a courtesy visit to the athletes on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
