Election of New PCC Moderator : Call for Truth

This was the message of a press conference organised by Truth House in Douala on Thursday 14 November 2024.

 

The newly elected Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon has been urged to seek the truth and work for the growth of the church while respecting Christian values. The call was made during a press conference in Douala on Thursday 14 November by Truth House, a group of PCC Christians led by renowned journalist Victor Epie Ngome.  The group of concerned PCC Christians denounced the ills plaguing the church and called on the new moderator to cleanse the face of the church. Recently, a series of social media postings have gone viral, exposing many of the misadventures of the PCC.
Alleged misappropriation of church funds, disrespect for Christian values by both clergy and Christians, homosexuality, corruption, occultism, tribalism and more were some of the ills that members of the Truth House highlighted as needing to be addressed for the growth of the church. For Truth House leader Victor Epie Ngome, the PCC has come of age and the enemies of the church must not be allowed to flourish.
