Judo : Cameroonian Judokas In Dakar

Eight athletes are representing the country in the Dakar Africa Judo Cup and Open that kicks off today November 21, 2024 in Dakar.


Cameroonian judokas are in Dakar, Senegal, where they will participate in the 2024 Dakar Africa Judo Cup and Open that begins today, November 21, 2024. Organised by the African Judo Union (AJU), the competition brings together athletes from across the country. The Cameroonian delegation left Yaounde for Dakar yesterday, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 via the Nsimalen International Airport on board an Air Ivoire flight. The Cameroonian delegation, led by the Secretary General of the Cameroon Judo Federation (FECAJUDO), Kamsu Kom Tekam, is made up of 10 members, including eight athletes and two coaches.
The athletes in the men’s category include; Kom Teddy Enzy (-73kg), Ngueya Naheu Vladimir Carlos (-90kg), Tahman Zan Franck Ulrich (-100kg) and Mepoui Anong Daniel (+100kg). In the women's category the athletes are Baba Matia Marie Céline (-52kg), Etoua Biock Audrey Jeannette (-63kg), Biami Zita Ornella (-70kg) and Djengue Moune Georgika Wesly (-78kg) will be competing. The athletes will be under the technical supervision of the national team coach, Justin Angelo Beyeme. The competition that will run till November 24, 2024 will unfold in the cadet, junior and senior categories. Hostilities will open today, November 21, 2024 with the junior category.
