Nanbudo CEMAC Cup 2025 : Cameroon Grabs 18 Gold Medals

That was the medal harvest for Cameroon during the fifth edition of the competition that ended in Yaounde on July 6, 2025.
The fifth edition of the Nanbudo CEMAC Cup rounded off at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaounde last weekend. Organised by the Cameroon Nanbudo Federation (FECANANBUDO), the competition brought together athletes from the Central African Republic, Chad, Cameroon and Burundi. Burundi as usual participated as a special guest.
Also present at the occasion was the President of the Central African Nanbudo Federation and the President of the Burundian Nanbudo Federation, Maître Nkurunziza. Inhabitants of Yaounde and elsewhere had another opportunity to discover new techniques in the sport. It was equally an opportunity for experts in the sports discipline to detect new talents.
Athletes from the sub-region fought with fair play and determination, all topped off by a huge turnout of judo fans who travelled to the venue to witness the quality of the spectacle. After two days of intense competition, Cameroon triumphed and dominated the events, winning 18 medals in as many events, confirming the work done by the Cameroonian Nanboudo Federation, led by Professor Justine Diffo and her executive.
