Handi Football Show : Disabled Athletes Showcased Talents

This was during the event organised by the Cameroonian Federation of Sports for the Intellectually Disabled (FECASDI) on December 2, 2025, in Yaounde to conclude the sport season.
The end of the first sport season for intellectually disabled took place at the gymnasium of the multipurpose stadium in Yaounde. The event was symbolically aligned with the upcoming World Day of People with Disabilities, celebrated annually on December 3.
Launched in January 2025, the sport season had several objectives: providing entertainment and physical activity for young people with various types of disabilities, and identifying promising athletes with intellectual disabilities who could benefit from specialized training for future competitive sports careers. This pioneering initiative included participation from nine teams divided into three main disability categories which are the intellectual, visual, and hearing impairments. The intellectual disabilities division featured four teams: Colombe and Jeunes Manteaux from Yaounde, APEDI from Douala, and the Stéphane Mbia Education Complex. The visually impaired category had two teams: AWA Boys and Promhandicam.
