The Indomitable Lions are forging ahead with training in Casablanca, fielding a nearly complete squad as they prepare for the December 19, 2025 departure to Agadir.

Casablanca has been alive with activity as the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon sharpen their skills for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in Morocco. Bryan Mbeumo, Devis Epassy, and Che Malone Fondoh were expected to join the group yesterday, December 16, 2025 to bring the squad to 27 players. Christian Kofane would be the final addition to complete the squad to 28, with reports suggesting he might join over the weekend after potentially featuring in Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga match against Leipzig on December 20, 2025.
The atmosphere at the training base remains serene but purposeful. The first official training session in Casablanca took place on Monday, December 15, 2025, at one of the pitches at the Wydad Athletic Club training centre. David Pagou and the players trained for over an hour. According to information on the official facebook page of the Lions, the session comprised two phases: an athletic-warmup led by fitness coach Bryan Meyeke Gefeh, and a tactical session directed by the head coach himself, all under a light drizzle.
