South West: Mmuock Clan Launches Development Association

Wabane (Lebialem) - The traditional ruler of Mmuock Leteh, in Wabane Subdivision, in Lebialem division, Chief Fotang VI, has praised his neighboring villages of Mmuock clan, for their development support operation programmes aimed at strengthening the cultural and development opportunities in the four villages. Chief Fotang VI was addressing the joint and co-management delegation of the collective management programmes for the development of the four villages, known as, “Four Mmuocks of Fodjikeng Development Association” (FOMFUDA), that include M’muock Fossimondi, M’mockmbie, both of Alou subdivision, Mmock Lelieng of FongoTongo, in Menoua division and Mmuock Leteh village of Wabane Subdivision on 18, January, 2026, in Mmuock Leteh palace. He said culture must remain a driving force for sustainable development for FOMFUDA association, which is the umbrella association grouping the four friendly villages. Addressing the meeting, the general coordinator of FOMFUDA association, Ngezam Devine Tendongmoh, said Mmuock Leteh, was the third lap, after the delegation visted Mmock Leileng and M’Mockmbie palaces, where they presented the draft constitution for the association which will be adopted after final approval.
