Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi chaired a preparatory meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Yaounde ahead of the competition, which kicks off on June 2, 2026.
The International Cycling Tour of Cameroon has become a highly anticipated event on Cameroon’s sports calendar due to its impact in boosting the country’s image. With the 2026 edition of the competition approaching in roughly over two weeks, specifically from June 2 to 14, 2026, the government, through the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education, convened with the organizing committee. The goal was to assess progress on preparations and propose measures to make the event better. Minister Mouelle Kombi chaired this preparatory meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Yaounde. The delegation from the Cameroon Cycling Federation was led by President Honoré Yossi with other key partner administrations involved in the organizational chain also present. The federation provided a detailed rundown of technical and administrative preparations.
