A publication of the Paramount Ruler, His Royal Highness Fon Sehm Mbinglo I, will be launched this Thursday June 25, 2026 in Yaounde.
Through a publication titled: The Fon of Nso and the Anglophone Crisis: A Testimony for Reconciliation and Peace, which will be launched this Thursday June 25, 2026 in Yaounde, the Paramount Ruler of Nso in the North West Region, His Royal Highness Fon Sehm Mbinglo I, has called for reconciliation, forgiveness and lasting peace. The publication recounts his personal experiences in the socio- political tensions rocking the two English-speaking regions of the country. Synopsis of the book was presented to the media recently in Yaounde during a Press Café moderated by Patience Wirngo, a Journalist with the State broadcaster. The 170-page publication is divided into seven sections with several subchapters, including testimonies, and a final message centred on peace and reconciliation. It was edited by a team of renowned Nso intellectuals comprising Prof Verkijika G. Fanso and Dr Fai Eugene Ndzegham, just to name a few. The event brought together members of the book launch committee led by Yaah Gladys Viban, former staff at the US Embassy in Yaounde and now on retirement, who doubles as the representative of the Fon during the event alongside editors, cultural stakeholders, and media professionals. Presenting an overview of the publication, co-editor, Ngalim Eugene Nyuydine explained that the work traces the journey of the Fon from his enthronement through the difficult years of the Anglophone Crisis, highlighting the trials he endured...
