HIV/AIDS In Children/Adolescents: Momentum, Equality Projects Record Success

At the close- out of these two important projects on June 25, 2026, Stakeholders celebrated a journey of commitment, innovation, courage and partnership.
The Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) has celebrated another milestone in the fight against HIV /AIDS in the North West Region. This time around, the two important projects which came to an end on June 25, 2026 are the Children Momentum and Equality Projects. During the close- out ceremony in Bamenda, recently it was disclosed that the projects touched the lives of children, adolescents, families and communities across the North West Region. The journey since 2021 is said to have been that of commitment, innovation, courage and partnership amongst all the stakeholders. The Director of CBCHS, Samuel Ngum revealed that the two projects were born out of real gaps identified in care and wellbeing of children living with HIV and adolescents at risk. Adding that the projects were born out of clear conviction that every child deserves care, every adolescents deserves protection and every vulnerable family deserves hope. Mr Samuel Ngum said the ceremony was an opportunity for all stakeholders to acknowledge the progress made, lives touched and hope restored.
