National Prayer Convention :Cameroon Needs Revival

A press conference ahead of the 1st National Prayer Convention of the Body of Christ took place last Wednesday in Yaounde.

It is after drawing inspiration from the bible verse 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says “if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again”, that “The Synergy for Revival in partnership with the body of Christ in Cameroon will organise the first National Convention for Prayer from April 26 to 29 at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex. During a press conference on Wednesday April 19, 2017 in Yaounde, the president of the organising committee, Rev André Kamta said the historic gathering of thousands of believers from the 10 Regions of Cameroon will take place on the theme” United for the Glory of God and Revival In Cameroon”.
Rev André Kamta said the idea to organise such a gathering came as a divine warning last April 2016 when two men of God from Uganda were sent to Cameroon with a prophetic message of paramount importance to the church in Cameroon. Rev Kamta told the press that the Lord is asking the church, the body of Christ, every denomination, without distinction of tribe, language or doctrine, to rise and intercede for the forgiveness of the sins of the nation, for peace, national cohesion and revival that will positively affect the land of Cameroon and its people.
