Chamber of Agriculture: Roadmap Made Public

The Plenary Assembly of the institution held its first ordinary session yesterday August 20, 2026 in Yaounde, to evaluate past performances and map out future goals.

The Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, and Forests (CAPEF) held its first plenary session of 2026 yes­ terday, August 20, in Yaounde, to re­ view past financial performances and set strategic trajectory for the year ahead. Top on the agenda was the formal adoption of a working budget of 4 billion FCFA to fund operational costs and crucial sector investments. During the session, the President Mar­ tin Paul Mindjos Momeny confirmed that the 2025 financial accounts had been fully validated for submission to the Court of Auditors ahead of the statutory June deadline. Addressing the press after the pro­ ceedings, the President highlighted the institution’s performance and structural evolution. “We managed a budget of FCFA 4 billion for invest­ ments and operations, and we have realized that it inspires confidence," Mindjos Momeny stated.
