Unisport of Upper Nkam: Provisional Management Committee Created

After a commanding performance in the last edition of the MTN Elite One Championship, in which Uni­ sport of Upper Nkam finished third overall, one would have expected a serene club entering the new season with even bigger ambitions. Instead, deep internal wrangling has led the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) to create a Provi­ sional Management Committee to oversee the club’s current affairs ahead of the new campaign. The federation held an emergency committee ses­ sion on 28 September 2026 to take this decision. The move follows the observation that the leaders’ mandates had expired, no General Assembly had been held within the statutory deadlines, and serious internal disagreements were undermining the club’s operations, amongst others.
