Day of African Child: Children Empowered On Basic Rights

Activities geared towards the commemoration of this year’s Day of the African Child are ongoing in Yaounde

Some Young Junior Parliamentarians are being schooled on the rights of African child. This is in prelude to the celebrations of the Day of the African Child come June 16, which will be commemorated on the theme:  “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Favour of Children: Accelerate Protection, Empowerment and Equality to Everyone”. The Government in collaboration with Plan International Cameroon has organized a one- week camp to empower the Young Junior Parliamentarians.
