Some Cameroonians who benefited from the UK Chevening Scholarship have been received by the British High Commissioner to Cameroon, Brian Olley. The event that took place at the British High Commissioner’s Residence on Thursday, June 16, 2017, marked the end of a very rich year that saw them study and carryout research in diverse fields and professional practice such as Public Health, Engineering, Human Rights, Rule of Law, Transparency and Good Governance, Media, Journalism and Communication, International Relations, Humanitarian Response Gender Civic Participation, Youth and Community Development.
Speaking during the ceremony, the British High Commissioner said, “We are celebrating the return of Cameroonians who were sponsored to carry out a year study at Masters Level in the United Kingdom in different specialties and have come back to Cameroon”.
