Nambudo: Winners Present Trophy To Prime Minister

This was during an audience Joseph Dion Ngute granted the delegation led by the President of the Federation, Justine Diffo, yesterday October 8, 2026.

C ameroon emerged world champions during the eight edition of the Nambudo championship hosted in Yaounde from October 1 to 4, 2026. A total of 15 gold medals out of the 19 in the competition were won by the Cameroonian team, as well as three silver and one bronze. The athletes and the President of the Cameroon Nambudo Federation, Jus­ tine Diffo were at the Star Building yesterday October 8, 2026 to present the trophy and medals to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. Speaking to the press after the au­ dience with the Prime Minister, the President of the Federation said they are presenting the trophy with so much pride for having defended the Fatherland in the sports competition. “It is with great emotion and pride for the Cameroon Nambudo Federa­ tion under the highest partnership of the Worldwide Nambudo Federa­ tion to present this trophy to the Prime Minister, Head of Government. It was the eight edition of World Nambudo Championship and we won it. This young people did their best to have these medals. We want to say thank you to the Head of State who had in trust the talents of these youth and gave us his authorisation for the organisation of this competi­ tion in Cameroon,” she said, adding that it was not easy, but Cameroon was able to win the trophy. Cameroon was also awarded the world champion demonstration trophy. Eighteen countries participated in the competition....
