Liu Guozhong’s Visit : Top-level Welcome At Nsimalen

China's Vice Prime Minister of the Business Council, Liu Guozhong who arrived Cameroon yesterday January 17, 2024 for a two-day working visit was received at the Nsimalen International Airport by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. The visiting Chinese Statesman was accorded the necessary honours of his rank. The security personnel in place, prominent space given the Chinese flag and the motorcade for Vice Prime Minister of the world’s most populous nation and one of Cameroon’s main bilateral partners, was enough evidence that he is cordially welcomed.  
It was at 2:00p.m when the aircraft on board the Chinese Vice Prime Minister touched down at the tarmac of the Nsimalen International Airport and after the final manoeuvres, Liu Guozhong came out of the plane fifteen minutes later to be received by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute at the foot of the mobile staircase of the aircraft.
After exchanging civilities with the Prime Minister, the Chinese senior official, Liu Guozhong proceeded to exchange handshakes with other officials that accompanied the Head of Government to warmly welcome the august guest to Cameroon. Amongst them, the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella, the Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office, Balungeli Confiance Ebune, Centre Regional Governor, Naseri Paul Bea amongst other administrative and elected officials of the region. Also present was a delegation of officials from the Chinese embassy, led by the Ambassador, Wang Yingwu, who massively showed up at the airport to welcome the special envoy of their President, Xi Jinping.
