School Return 2017-2018: Effective Start in SW

Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe announced new measures to professionalise Education in Cameroon.

“After visiting 13 schools, I can attest to the effective start of classes in the South West Region.” In these words Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe, Minister of Secondary Education, concluded his near one week stay in the South West Region during which he launched the 2017-18 back-to-school at the Bilingual Grammar school Molyko-Buea yesterday (4 September).
The Minister told the press yesterday afternoon on ending his field work in Tiko that he had received information from the nine other Regions of Cameroon confirming that schools effectively resumed on 4 September. Minister Bibehe concluded that he was sure the recent measures taken by the Head of State would bring more serenity and peace in schools and the communities at large.
At the launching of school-return at BGS Molyko, the First Deputy Mayor of Buea, Motomby Mbome Emmanuel, rejoiced that effective school resumption had come to re-ignite hope in the children guaranteeing the unshakeable progress of Cameroon. The Mayor said he was all-the-more happy because the released persons have called for school return.
In a reassuring speech, the new South West Regional Delegate of Secondary Education, Mombakued Victor Yewoh, doffed his hat for the pains, efforts, and energies deployed towards ensuring the smooth start of the academic year in the South West.
