A farewell ceremony for the 17th batch of Chinese medical doctors in Cameroon and the reception of the 18th batch held in the Ministry of Public Health on Monday, October 31, 2016. The 45 outgoing medical doctors were handed testimonials after serving in Cameroon for two years.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon, Wei Wenhua, spoke of the achievements of the 17 batch. The Minister of Public Health, André Mama Fouda, hailed the Chinese medical team for its relentless efforts in ensuring the wellbeing of patients. He said the award of testimonials was a mark of appreciation from the government of Cameroon. He wished them good health and success as they go to their new missions.
The new medical team will serve in the Gynaeco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospitals in Yaounde and the Mbalmayo and Guider Hospitals. Minister Mama Fouda assured the Chinese medical doctors of government’s support as they carry out their task. The Chinese Ambassador donated medical equi...
