Attack on Embassy: Total Condemnation

The illegal and hideous acts were carried out by militants of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) as part of their demonstrations called “ White marches.”

Cameroonians both at home and in the Diaspora have continued to show their indignation and condemnation following the ransacking and damaging items in Cameroon’s Embassy in Paris, France and demonstrations in other countries on January 26, 2019.

The Ministers of Communication, René Emmanuel Sadi and Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji in a joint press conference on Saturday, January 26, 2019 night expressed government’s condemnation of the series of unauthorised demonstrations called “ White Marches” staged by the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) political party. Concerning the demonstrations abroad,

Minister Sadi said a hundred of CRM militants attacked Cameroon’s Embassy in Paris, France. “After scaling the fence of the building hosting the Embassy, they broke into the offices and ransacked everything on their way, causing huge damages.” The French forces of law and order successfully pushed the demonstrators out of the embassy premises. There were equally reports of similar demonstrations in Cameroon’s Embassies in Berlin, Germany and Brussel, Belgium.
