Mora-Dabanga-Kousseri Road: Work Resumption Plan Finalised
The Minister of Public Works held a working session with World Bank officials in Yaounde on November 11, 2016.
Work on the Mora-Dabanga (62 km) and Dabanga-Kousseri (150 km) highway in the Far North Region is set to resume in 2017. The number of working sessions on the government side as well as the World Bank is being increased, with stakeholders committed to restart work on the highway after terrorist attacked the Chinese Sinohydro company working on the site in 2014.
The Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi and World Bank officials, led by the Director of Operations in Cameroon, Elisabeth Huybens, held a working session in Yaounde on November 11, 2016 with focus on four issues.
