A delegation led by the Synod President for Centre and South 1 visited four different health facilities in Yaounde on Friday November 11, 2016.
Cameroonians continue to show support and solidarity to the victims of the Eséka train accident that occurred on October 21, 2016. Last Friday November 11, 2016 was the turn of the Evangelical Church of Cameroon (EEC). A delegation of the EEC led by the Synod President for Centre and South 1, Rev. Philippe Nguete paid a visit to victims of the Eséka train accident in four different health facilities in Yaounde. At the Yaounde Emergency Centre the delegation had a working session with some of the victims.
Speaking at the occasion, Rev. Philippe Nguete said he came to tell the Eséka victims that EEC is with them. He thanked the authorities of the hospital for their efforts in caring for the patients. Rev. Nguete told the victims not to look at man but to God. “There is one thing you should know. God loves you. He cares for you and has good projects for you. Call on God in faith and He will not abandon you,” he said.
Rev. Nguete prayed that God will show his mercy and grace to the victims and give them a better future. He said they came as Christians to put their prayers in action and that explains why they brought some donations; the donation comprised of fo...
