Gov’t Calls For Fair Treatment Of Workers

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Gregoire Owona has hailed Sogea Satom as one of the few construction companies in Cameroon who never abandon a contract and does good work. He said his presence at the medal award ceremony was proof of governments’ recognition of the contribution the company has been making in the development of Cameroon. He called on the company to continue with the good work so as to help Cameroon attain emergence by 2035. He congratulated management and staff alike for the good social climate prevailing in the company. He called on the workers not to make demands that could cripple the company and equally called on the management to make sure workers also benefit from the profit made by the company. He urged the recipients to continue working hard so as to get more medals in the future.
