Senate: African Intellectual Property Bill Examined

The bill was examined by the Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday, November 21, 2016.

 

The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate had a busy Monday evening as its members  examined bill to authorise the President of the Republic to ratify the Bangui Agreement instituting an African  Intellectual Property Organisation  revised in Bamako (Mali) on 14 December 2015. This was one of the bills already adopted at the National Assembly and forwarded to the Senate for second reading. The Minister of Industry, Mines and Technological Development, Ngwaboubou Ernest assisted by the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Commonwealth, Joseph Dion Ngute in the Foreign Affairs Committee defended the bill.
