Covid-19 : Potential Vectors Of Transmition

The cleaning of devices used daily that harbor germs and viruses is imperative for the fight against the rapid spread of the Covid-19.
Smartphone, earpiece, keyboard, mouse, laptop, Game console, smart watches and Desktop PC are some of the devices that we use on a daily basis, though at different degrees. Thus making them potential carriers of infections, germs and viruses, especially during this period when the country is hit by the Coronavirus pandemic. The life span of the virus on non-porous surfaces last for days. Thus, these working tools need to be cleaned so as to reduce the spread of the virus given that man uses them everyday. Smart phones, earpiece and laptops are inherent to humans as they use them often. How to clean these devices as a means to fight against the spread of the Covid-19 is what should be applicable by all.
-Smart phones/tablets: These are the most common devices that are used at all moments of the day. Most often, the hands are cleaned but smart phones ignored regardless of the fact that they harbor germs. So manufacturers generally recommend wiping them down with distilled water and a barely textured microfiber cloth and then using cotton swabs to clean around crevices, like the edges of the screen and buttons. Don’t spray your device directly, and avoid getting drips of moisture in any openings. Other products that can be used are phone sanitizers and sterilisers that are available.
-Headphones/Earphones: These devices are equally used alongside phones and tablets. They are sometimes exchanged amongst persons as such facilitate the transmition of germs.
