Buea: 88 Police Officers Raised

Their new epaulets were awarded on August 12, 2016.

Some 88 police officers in the South West Region were promoted on July 25, 2016 by President Paul Biya for hard work. A ceremony to affix the new epaulets on the valiant recipients was organised on August 12, 2016, at the ceremonial grounds in Buea, capital of the South West Region.

Governor Bernard Okalia Bilai chaired the event at Bongo Square and fastened the highest epaulet of Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police. The newly promoted ranked from Senior Police Constables to Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police.
