Road network, health, airports and sports structures have seen improvement for the betterment of the living conditions of the population.
As Cameroonians celebrate the 39th anniversary of the ascension to power of the President of the Republic, some achievements are worth celebrating such as the progress recorded in infrastructural development as a mechanism to improve the living conditions of the population.
Stadiums
On his ascension to power, President Paul Biya met two principal stadiums in Cameroon; the Yaounde Omnisport and the Douala Reunification stadiums. In the Littoral, the Japoma 50,000 capacity stadium exists with the Mbappe Leppe and Bounamoussadi stadiums (serving mostly as training grounds) constructed. The Limbe Omisports stadium with a capacity of 20,000, the Centenary and Middle Farms stadiums in the South West Region have equally been built under the Biya regime.
