With this slogan, the former Indomitable Lion vying for the post of FECAFOOT president hopes to use experience to promote high quality football from the base.
Former Indomitable Lions defender, Jules Denis Onana has been confirmed as one of the candidates eligible to take part in the FECAFOOT Presidential poles slated for December 11, 2021. The player who has sacrificed a greater part of his life defending the colours of the nation hopes to use his rich professional experience to promote high quality football in Cameroon. He played his first game for the national team in 1988 and the last in 1995. His ordeals at both the national and international levels have been strong inspiration. Since he announced his intention for the FECAFOOT top job, he has been very present on social media posting flyers and sharing his ideas with media outlets. With the slogan, “Back To The Essential”, the candidate wants to tackle issues from the base.
“We mean to defend and promote high quality management of Cameroonian football; we have a commitment to ensure success for all footballers, with the desire to improve the framework and conditions of work and life of everyone,” the candidate says as concerns his purpose for standing for the elections. He adds that, “The challenge is to enrol history. Be part and impulse the new take off of all the new modernity, with the craving for more stringent, efficient, adapted to the context and especially productive results that have nothing to do with hazardous achievement, rare as lucky stars or fast as shooting stars”.
