Douala : Youth Day In Pomp and Pageantry

Youths of the Littoral have been urged to prove of loyalty, creativity and patriotism during a march pass ceremony that witnessed the participation of volunteers of the last AFCON.
Many young people gave the streets of Vallee de la Besseke an explosive vitality Friday, February 11, 2022, as they turned out to once again celebrate the National Youth Day. To the youths it was a moment of overwhelming joy after two years break due to an outbreak of a ravaging pandemic of the new coronavirus. They wielded the national flag, chanted hymns of their patriotism and displayed variously as they marched pass in front of the Grandstand, from where local administration, led by Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, oversaw the national event dedicated to the youths.
Vallee de la Besseke was a macrocosm of selected schools and institutions to partake in the ceremony through a march pass in front of the Governor and his administration under the theme: “Youth and voluntary participation in the major challenges of Cameroon,” as the celebration took place in all the subdivisions of Douala.
