Bafoussam : Governor Awa Fonka Praises Participation Of Teachers

Governor Awa Fonka Augustine has expressed total satisfaction with the female staff of the ministries of secondary and basic education in the West region in general and Bafoussam in particular for their total mobilization and participation in celebration marking the 37th edition of the International Women’s Day. He also appreciated the privilege position they took as mothers in handling the strike action, by not instigating pupils and students to go out into the streets.  Governor Awa Fonka noted that such action helped to safeguard the needed security for the children, and assured the teachers, that a solution to their requests is Government legitimate objective now.
Governor Awa Fonka, was addressing thousands of women in Bafoussam, on March, 8, 2022, while presiding at celebration marking this year’s women’s day. Governor Awa  Fonka ,noted that the atmosphere at the Bafoussam ceremonial ground was that of total excitement, considering that the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided a little to give the women the opportunity for celebration and organize match past. He called on those women not yet vaccinated to do so.
