Bamenda : Defence Chief Of Staff Ends Operational Control

The nation's Defence Chief Of Staff, Lt. General Rene Claude Meka on March 24, 2022 sized up the security situation of the North West Region.  The event at the 501 Airforce Base featured presentations by the Commanders of the 5th Joint Military and Gendarmerie Regions, Brigadier Generals Nka Valere and Ekongwese Divine. It was all about committed efforts to give peace a chance with the protection of people and property, and challenges in the face of ongoing socio- political crisis. The visiting Defence Chief of Staff equally listened to updates on healthcare activities to keep defence and security elements safe from the killer, Covid-19 pandemic.
