Senate : Status Of Personnel Examined

The President, Marcel Niat Njifenji chaired a bureau meeting of the House on May 18, 2022.
Bureau members of the Senate have in a meeting chaired by the House President, Marcel Niat Njifenji, on May 18, 2022 examined the status of its workers. The said meeting was a follow-up of the previous bureau meeting which held some months back.
Speaking on behalf of the bureau after the meeting, Senator Fon Chafah Isaac said the Secretary General of the Senate had presented 10 bureau orders for approval by the bureau. The President of the Senate, he explained, to that effect, set up a Commission to examine all those bureau orders and a report of the said Commission was presented during the bureau meeting of May 18, 2022, which was adopted by a majority of the bureau. The Senator said the report dealt exclusively with the working conditions of personnel of the Senate. That is their recruitment, status and the organigram of the Senate. “You will agree with me that up till now, the personnel of the Senate do not really function the way they should be. People are not working in their rightful positions because appointments have not been done. We made recommendations with regards to the organism of the Senate and the profile that all personnel have to acquire before they can occupy certain positions in the organigram,” he stated, adding that regional equilibrium is something which was emphasized on. “An institution like the Senate should be seen to enhance that cardinal principle where each Cameroon should feel represented.
