Attack Against President Biya, Institutions : Parliamentarians Express Indignation

Cameroonian Senators and Members of the National Assembly have joined government to condemn the issues raised in the discussion between a certain Wilfried Ekanga claiming Cameroonian nationality and the French President Emmanuel Macron during the former’s visit to the Paris region on June 8, 2022.
The Minister of Communication, who doubles as Government’s Spokesperson, René Emmanuel Sadi, in a press release issued on June 10, 2022 on behalf of government vehemently deplores and totally disapproves of the evocation of the situation in Cameroon between the two interlocutors, which was in terms that clearly translates disinformation and even intoxication.
According to Minister Sadi, the discussion was regrettably inappropriate. President Paul Biya, the press release stated, has no lessons to receive from whosoever and remains the main architect of democracy in Cameroon.
