Issuance of Biometric Visa : Cameroon Receives Digital Equipment

Officials of the Ministry of External Relations received the equipment on June 27, 2022 from the company Impact Palmarès, with whom they had signed a partnership accord.
As a mechanism to promote transparency and facilitate the issuance of visas and other diplomatic documents, the Ministry of External Relations has received latest technological equipment from the company Impact Palmarès for the realisation of such an objective. The equipment were handed on June 27, 2022 during an event in which the Minister of External Relations was represented by the Acting Secretary General who is the Director of Protocol, Ashu Ntaribo. This follows a partnership accord in which the government of Cameroon signed with the institution on April 1, 2022 on the financing, conceptualizing, harmonizing and securing consular data through digitalisation.
The President of Impact Palmarès, Giresse Tella noted that for the modernisation of public policies of Cameroon, Impact Palmarès brings to Cameroon through the Ministry of External Relations, the installation of latest technological equipment in diplomatic missions, consular posts and the issuance of biometric visas, the installation of electronic visa authentication systems at all entry points of Cameroon (land, air and water) and the creation of a digital platform for the online request of visas (e-visa). The training of personnel dedicated to the use and maintenance of the equipment, the building up of a data centre for the management and treatment of consular information, and the production of biometric consular cards and other secured documents, are other positive outcomes of the partnership agreement between Cameroon and the digital institution headquartered in C&oci...
