Nga Gasper Thairinyuy : Experienced In Elections Management

The new member of the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon has worked with the institution right from the Divisional level.
The Head of State, President Paul Biya while renewing the terms of office of members of the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) on July 12, 2022, appointed Nga Gasper Thairinyuy as one of the new members. Before the appointment, he was the Regional Delegate of ELECAM for the North West Region. He probably replaces Mbu Peter, a member of the Electoral Board of ELECAM from the North West who recently died in a car accident.
The appointment of Nga Gasper is a promotion for him to better serve the country in electoral matters. He has climbed the different rungs of the electoral ladder having started as the Divisional Delegate in his native Bui Division. He was the Divisional Delegate of ELECAM for Bui Division between 2010-2012. On September 13, 2012, he was commissioned the new Regional Delegate of ELECAM for the North West Region in replacement of the pioneer Delegate Emmanuel Ning Formu-Kum. He maintained the position until Tuesday, July 12, 2022 when he was raised to the prestigious position of member of the Electoral Board of ELECAM. At the helm of ELECAM in the North West in different capacities, Nga Gasper has worked for the successful organisation and management of presidential, municipal, regional council, legislative and senatorial elections. He also observed elections in Cyprus in 2005 and attended many capacity building seminars on elections management.
