Indian High Commissioner Visits SOPECAM

India’s High Commissioner to Cameroon has paid a courtesy visit to the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM). During the visit that took place yesterday, September 1, 2022 at the company’s headquarters in Yaounde, H.E Anindya Banerjee and the General Manager of SOPECAM, Marie Claire Nnana discussed on how best to render India’s activities in the country more visible. During discussion, the General Manager of SOPECAM presented the five SOPECAM publications to her guest. From Cameroon Tribune which is the mother publication to Cameroon Business Today, Nyanga, Weekend Sports et Loisir and Cameroon Insider the most recent in the media house, H.E Anindya was baffled by the quality and variety of products the company has been putting on the market for her readers.
Speaking on the heels of the SOPECAM General Manger, H.E Anindya hailed the excellent relations between Cameroon and India. He said, his country has very much to offer in the domain of tourism, infrastructure and medical care where many Cameroonians have been travelling to India for treatment thanks to the good facilities and simplified visa procedures. He added that in the domain of education, his country has good and cheap higher education opportunities.
