Transitional Council of Professional Football : New Task Ahead

Four days after the dissolution of the LFPC, FECAFOOT has appointed a new bureau that will manage the affairs of the Elite One and Two championships.

During the Executive Committee and General Assembly of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) that took place in Douala from August 26 to 27, 2022 the members unanimously agreed to dissolve the Professional Football League. They announced that new organ was expected to be created at the opportune time. Four days after the dissolution of the Professional Football League of Cameroon (LFPC), FECAFOOT has appointed a new bureau of the Transitional Council of Professional Football (CTFP) to manage the affairs of the professional football league. The information is contained in a press release signed on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 by the President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o.
According to the release, Pierre Boudjiko Youkeka has been appointed new President of the organ. He replaces General Pierre Semengue. Boudjiko Youkeka is assisted by André Noel Essian as first vice president and Mbella Moki Charles as second vice president. The Secretariat General of the organ in charge of the organisation of the Elite One and Two championships has been confined to Faustin Blaise Mbida Mbida. He takes over from Paul Mebizo, former Secretary General. The other members of the CTFP were maintained in their functions.
