NUDP : Validation Of New Basic Organs Awaited

Officials and militants of the National Union for Democracy and Progress (NUDP) are just waiting for the party’s National President, Maigari Bello Bouba to validate the list of newly carved out basic organs. Following resolutions of the party’s congress that took place in Yaounde,  one of the major activities has to be the renewal of the executive bureaux of  the  party’s basic organs. This will come to reinvigorate the NUDP, considering that elections took place at the national level during the congress.
To prepare for the renewal operation of the executive bureaux of the basic organs, the NUDP National President Maigari Bello Bouba  signed  circular letter No. 2022/01/LC/PN/NUDP  of 15 July 2022  to carve out basic organs.  The letter was addressed to Presidents of Divisional Federations of the party. The intention is to have a clear map  of the basic organs  that have to be established  beforehand. Extended meetings of the Divisional Federation bureaux  had to be convened before  July 31, 2022. During the meetings, the officials were required to establish the list of  names of currently  existing NUDP, Women’s Movement (WMDP) and Youth Movement (YMDP) in Sections, Sub-sections and branches. They also had to indicate, for each NUDP, WMDP and YMDP Section and Sub-section, the name, and contact details  of the current Chairperson,  and to propose if need be, the reorganisation of   the current division  of  basic organs. In Divisions or Subdivisions where  the party is not yet  organised or is poorly organised,  they had to propose  a reasonable division into branches, sub-sections  and sections that can be set up within  the next 10  months.
NUDP officials were equally expected to express need for party  membership cards, Section by Section  and campaign  for the distribution of the cards  organised in August 2022...
