Nkongsamba: Population Encouraged to Stay Healthy

This was during a sporting and cultural activity presided at by the Inspector General of the Littoral Governor’s Office to valorise cultural diversity.

The Inspector General of the Littoral Governor’s Office, Simplice Herve Kengne, has encouraged the population of the Moungo Division to stay healthy, by himself taking active part in an eight-kilometre sport walk on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The sporting activity was a part of diverse sporting and cultural activities that took place in Nkongsamba I, in the Moungo Division, under the theme, “Together to valorise our cultural diversity” by the Littoral Governor’s Office to foster social co-existence, harmony and peace while also keeping fit. It was the first time the sporting and cultural activities days, christened “Littoral en forme”, was holding out of Douala. Thus the 6th edition was special as other past editions held only in the five subdivisions of Douala. Besides the sport walk which took participants around a section of the town of Nkongsamba, other engaging activities include a football match that pitched a selection of players in Moungo against those of other areas of the Littoral Region, volley ball, handball and basketball. After the official take off of the activities, there was a visit of exhibition stands led by the Inspector General, who represented the Governor at the sporting and cultural activities.
