Chantal Biya International Cycling Race : Competition Resumes Today

The second lap of the race will take place today October 5, 2022 from Yaounde to Ngomedzap in the Nyong and So’o Division.
The 22nd edition of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Race has gone into full gear. The second lap of the competition will take place today October 5, 2022 from Yaounde to Ngomedzap in the Nyong and So’o Division over a distance of 86.9km. After the first lap in Garoua in the North Region on Monday October 3, 2022 the race is now in the Centre Region. Yesterday October 4, was set aside for the installation of the various delegations and cyclists from Garoua into Yaounde.
During the first lap, Algeria’s Islam Mansouri emerged winner of the race and the yellow jersey. He won the 99.2km race in 2h28’39” marked by an average record of 40.04km/ph. Lapouges Damien from French Defense Club was second in 2h29’13” and Wijfje Tom from Global Cycling was third in 2h29’13”. Cameroon’s Clovis Kamzong Abossolo finished on the fourth ...
