Academic Excellence : Santa CPDM Elite Celebrate Outstanding Students

"Mighty Santa Caucus"; or better still; CPDM elite of Santa Subdivision who shine as advocates for formal education were on song on November 19, 2022 when they showcased generosity in support for their children, eager to study in the face of the ongoing security challenges. It was a full house at the Santa Town hall with stakeholders gathered to celebrate academic excellence. 
Members of the “Mighty Santa Caucus” were around with cash prizes worth about FCFA 8 million for some 100 beneficiary pupils and students of primary, secondary and higher education. Beneficiaries took home certificates and cash prizes ranging from FCFA 50,000 to 100,000. Among the lot, were two University graduates with impressive GPA points to show; some 23 Advanced Level candidates; most of who scored 25/25 points, GCE technical intermediate level and GCE Ordinary Level laureates and a special selection of some 40 students who excelled from functional schools in the Subdivision. 
Setting the tone, the President of the “Mighty Santa Caucus”, Dr. Cornelius Chi Asafor said it was a moment to celebrate and encourage outstanding performance. He featured the merits of quality education and sounded off that Santa Caucus members are giving back what the Subdivision helped them to achieve. He stated the preparedness of the Caucus to continue to stand solidly by the youths with values of peace, unity and integrity because the youths are a window of Santa into a more competitive future. Dr. Cornelius Chi Asafor saluted the bravery and commitment of teachers and parents who defy fear and give the youths chance in education.
