Qatar 2022 : Cameroonian Fans Buzzing In Qatar

The have been among the shining stars in Doha even before the first match ball was kicked with their unmatched support not only for their national team but the tournament as a whole.

Whether it’s in a metro, bus station, stadium or a fan festival, Cameroonian fans have so far distinguished themselves with their vocal support even before the 2022 FIFA World Cup hits top gear.
Their massive presence at the Lions’ training camp at Al Sahilia yesterday was testament of their strong attachment to their national team.
Over a hundred fans who flew into Doha last week, coupled with the huge Cameroonian community in Qatar have been creating memorable scenes with their support.
Last Saturday at the Banyan Tree, Doha Oasis Complex where the Lions are lodged, the fans camped for over six hours chanting and dancing as they welcomed the Indomitable Lions to Qatar.
But the most sparkling of their displays so far was last Friday when they owned the Al Corniche Independence Square for over two hours marching and chanting on the streets during the official FIFA Fan Festival to mark the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Football fans, influencers, comedians and artists brought in from Cameroon to support the Lions have taken their art a step further ...
