Public Independent Conciliator : Staff Absorb Institutional Core Values

The skills of staff of the Office of Public Independent Conciliator (OPIC) for the South West Region were on November 30, 2022 sharpened during an in-house capacity building. The goal is to ensure better service delivery to users of local and city councils, and Regional Assembly in the South West Region. Held on the theme “Core values as an instrument in attaining the mission of the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator,” the values, 20 in number, were outlined and explained by Fonju Njukang Bernard. They are team spirit, accountability, transparency, credibility, honesty, independence, equity, confidentiality among others. 
Motaze Telelen Dorothy Atabong, Public Independent Conciliator for the South West Region, said the core values are carefully identified and defined to guild the conduct of personnel towards the smooth execution of the missions of OPIC. “They represent our deeply held beliefs and are intended to become our fundamental driving force. Our commitment to respect these values will determine the overall appreciation and evaluation of our office by the users whose satisfaction is the raison d’etre of our institution,” she said.
