Open Golf Charity : Elessa Lothin Tatah Lesley Emerges Champion

The final of the fourth edition of the competition took place at the Yaounde Golf Club field on Saturday December 10, 2022.
It was an exceptional day at the Yaounde Golf Club course on Saturday December 10, 2022. The event was the closing ceremony of the fourth edition of the golf tournament called Open Golf Charity Elessa Lothin-Sen Foundation. Organised by the Elessa Lothin-Sen Foundation, the competition brought together 84 participants from across the country. Last Saturday’s event equally marked the end of the golf season in Cameroon. This year’s event was particular with the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo who was there to encourage the athletes.
Speaking at the occasion, Minister Fame Ndongo congratulated the organisers and partners for making the event a success. He also encouraged the athletes to continue in their efforts and assured that they have all the encouragements of the Head of State.
The participants competed in the professional, cadies and amateurs categories. After five days of intense competition, Tatah Lesley from the Likomba Golf Club in Tiko emerged overall winner in the professionals’ category. He bagged home FCFA 2,500,000. Runner up Pristhy Nji equally from the Likomba Golf Club got FCFA 1,500,000. The third prize went to Tayou Marcel who grabbed FCFA 1 million. In the cadies category, M...
